During my recent Skinvive neck training, I felt genuinely inspired to see how beautifully this treatment can rejuvenate the neck area. So, let’s talk about it — because glowing skin shouldn’t stop at the jawline.
What Exactly Is Skinvive?
Skinvive by Juvéderm is the first and only FDA-approved microdroplet hyaluronic acid (HA) injectable designed specifically to improve skin hydration, smoothness, and overall glow.
Unlike dermal fillers that lift or reshape, Skinvive is all about skin quality. It’s formulated with cross-linked HA, a hydrating molecule that attracts and locks in water within the skin layers — keeping the skin moisturized, supple, and radiant from the inside out.
It also contains 0.3% lidocaine, making the treatment much more comfortable for patients.
Think of Skinvive as a “skin conditioner” in injectable form — boosting hydration, texture, and luminosity that even the best moisturizers can’t achieve.

What the Treatment Feels Like
A typical session takes about 20–30 minutes. Using a very fine needle or cannula, I place tiny droplets of Skinvive evenly across the neck in a precise pattern.
Most patients describe it as mildly prickly but very tolerable, especially since the product already contains lidocaine for comfort. There may be small bumps or redness that fade within a day or two.
The skin gradually improves over the next 2–4 weeks, looking smoother, more hydrated, and luminous. Results usually last around 6 months, and maintenance once or twice a year keeps the glow consistent.
